The very mention of the word ‘winter’ makes you want to lock arms with your loved one and tuck in a little closer. In Wales we have a word for this. It’s ‘cwtch’.

Frosty mornings, star-studded skies, blustery walks on windswept beaches and diving into cafes for a warming cup of tea are perfect Valentine’s activities. All of which are accessible from the front door.

While you are out exploring preparations are being made for your retreat back to Llys Meddyg. The log fires will be crackling and our creative genius, James, will have been in the kitchen all day lovingly preparing food for your culinary adventure that evening.

Our Valentines package includes dinner (a special 5-course valentines menu), bed & breakfast (sorry all our rooms are now fully booked). Romantic additions of chocolate, champagne, flowers and bespoke local gifts can also be arranged.

In the Cellar Bar romantic live piano music with the French pianist Samuel Fernandez, playing Chopin’s nocturne, Liszt’s Reve d’amour, Debussy’s Clair de lune or the moonlight sonata….a fantastic night to fall in love again and again.
