If you’re looking for a restaurant in Pembrokeshire we can offer you a delightful range of gastronomic experiences – from fine dining in our restaurant through to informal relaxed lunches in our beautiful Kitchen Garden room.

The dining and bar areas of Llys Meddyg have managed that difficult trick of being a little rustic and a lot metropolitan, a touch country and a soupçon city. There are worn textured surfaces and gleaming mirrors and glass, antiques and big, plump cushions – and everywhere you’re assailed by colour, whether from contemporary Welsh textiles or the art.

Llys Meddyg offers a choice of places to eat; the downstairs Cellar Bar is funky and cosy, with slate floor and leather couches, a wood burning stove in the inglenook fireplace and a marble bar.  Back upstairs, the restaurant, with its lovely Georgian proportions and features has understated elegance and warmth with some traditional polished tables, marble fireplaces and waxed window shutters.

In the summertime, there’s also the choice of eating at the less formal Kitchen Garden across the courtyard.

All our food is served under Ed’s watchful eye which puts great emphasis on seasonality and local provenance.

What the Press say about us:

“…locally sourced ingredients are used and everything is kept simple, yet these dishes would be well received at a top metropolitan restaurant…a gem of a hotel. Get there before the hordes descend.” The Observer

If you have any questions, or if you’d like to make a booking for a meal at Llys Meddyg, please do call us on 01239 820008, or contact us.  We’re really looking forward to hearing from you soon.
