Llys Meddyg offers family friendly accommodation in Pembrokeshire, Wales and is a brilliant base for families to explore and discover Newport and surrounds.

We welcome families and we acknowledge that little ones need flexibility. We are happy to warm bottles and food, and to prepare simple child friendly meals if requested in advance.

Every room has a fridge useful for storing your own milk and food and we are happy to store more elsewhere should this be required.

We can provide travel cots and a bottom sheet and we are also happy to arrange baby sitting. Baby monitors work from all our bedrooms to the restaurant and cellar bar, but you might feel more comfortable only using these if you are staying in the main house.

The Blue Room, Pink Room and Large Garden Room all have sofa beds that can sleep up to two and are therefore the best options for a larger family. If you want more space then the Large Garden Room and the Cosy Garden Room are opposite each other in the mews building. • Paddling at Cwm beach and crabbing at the Parrog
• Kite flying
• Pushchair (and bike!) friendly walk from Llys Meddyg along the estuary path from the Iron Bridge to the Parrog
• Five-minute toddle from Llys Meddyg to Newport play park
• For slightly older children there are various other activities that can be arranged locally from horse riding to kayaking to coasteering.
• Excellent swimming pool 15 minutes drive away in Fishguard with a beautifully warm baby and toddler pool
• Blue Lagoon water park, near Narberth – approx. 35 minutes drive
• Oakwood theme park – approx. 40 minute drive
• Teifi Mania soft play area, Cardigan – 20 minute drive
• Various boat trips for seal, dolphin and bird watching
