Seashore & Hedgerow Foraging Course

Under the direction of Ed Sykes, you will visit some of our beautiful local beaches, and nearby estuary and hedgerows in a fun and informative Pembrokeshire foraging trip. Dependent on season, you’ll be hunting for delicious and tasty wild food along the way, looking for the ingredients for your lunch!  You will learn how to safely identify and gather your finds, and then prepare and cook your foraged feast.

Day Course:
Time: 11am — 3pm
Adult | £75
Child | FREE for children under 12 years old
£25 for children between 12 — 16 (must be accompanied by an adult)
Group bookings for four start from £300.
Residential Course — One Night DB&B:
£160 per person (based on two sharing)
£170 per person (single occupancy)
Upgrade to luxury room from £15pppn
Seasonal Pembrokeshire Foraging Guide:
  • Spring: sea beet, sea kale, razor clam, alexanders
  • Summer: sea buckthorn berries, rock samphire, marsh samphire, sea purslane, sea beet
  • Autumn: razor clam, seaweed, sea buckthorn berries
  • Winter: cockles, mussels, oysters, winkles, sea spinach

Essentials to Bring: Always best to dress for the weather, so remember your waterproof clothing, as well as comfortable walking shoes/boots or wellies. Bring a bag or basket to carry your foraged wild foods. Also a notebook, pen, camera, and bottle of water may come in useful.

Additional Information: Please advise in advance of any food preferences (i.e. vegetarian) or intolerances. Regretfully, courses may need to be cancelled if less than 4 booked per course.
